(Buffalo, N.Y.) – Monday on the Buffalo Review we discussed the future of the Scajaquada Parkway and the growing craft brewing industry in western New York.
In the first segment we spoke with Joseph Popiolkowski, a reporter from the Buffalo News, who has written several articles about the Scajaquada and attended last week’s public information meeting hosted by the state Department of Transportation.
Next we spoke with Amber Small, executive director of the Parkside Community Association, and Chuck Banas, from Partners for a Liveable Western New York, about their concerns with the parkway.
In the second half of the show, we spoke to Matt Kahn, co-founder of the Big Ditch Brewing Company, about the popularity and economics of craft brewing.
Lastly, Tim Herzog, the co-founder of the Flying Bison Brewing Company, joined us to discuss the history of brewing in Buffalo and the culture of craft brewing.
