(Buffalo, N.Y.) – On the Buffalo Review (5/2) we covered the Target boycott, a shortage of foster parents in western New York and filmmaking in Buffalo.
In the first segment, we spoke with Cameron Schraufstetter from the Pride Center of western New York, who is a transgender man, about the North Carolina “bathroom bill” and the online petition to boycott Target, which has drawn over a million signatures.
Next we spoke with Michael Long, chairman of the Conservative Party of New York, who says he supports North Carolina’s law and the boycott.
In the second half of the show, we discussed a shortage of foster parents in western New York with Mary Cornwell and Crystal Giammarise, from Child and Family Services of Erie County.
Finally, we asked Tim Clark, from the Buffalo Niagara Film Commission, if Buffalo is becoming a hot spot for filmmaking.
