(Buffalo, N.Y.) – This week on the Buffalo Review (March 13) we discussed the topics of public health and sports.

In the first segment, we spoke with Jeremy Morlock, director of outreach and education, from Unyts about the group’s efforts to raise awareness of organ donation.

Next, we spoke Pamela Rose from TAWNY (Therapy Animals of Western New York) about the roles and abilities of service dogs.

In the second half of the show, we discussed the financial impact of Buffalo hosting NCAA tournament games with Brian Hayden, communications manager at Visit Buffalo Niagara.

Finally, we spoke with Mike Evans, board member from the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles youth hockey club, about the team’s partnership with the Buffalo Sabres and the NHL’s “Learn to Play” initiative.
