Pastor James Giles, from the Buffalo Peacemakers, appeared on the Buffalo Review April 20 to discuss his group’s efforts to reduce violence in western New York.

(Buffalo, N.Y.) – This week on the Buffalo Review (April 24) we covered recent acts of violent crime, distracted driving and the Great American Eclipse of 2017.

In the first half of the show, we spoke with Pastor James Giles, from the Buffalo Peacemakers, about recent gun violence in Buffalo and his group’s efforts to maintain peace.

Next, we spoke with Deb Trombley, from the National Safety Council, about efforts to reduce distracted driving.

Finally, Dr. Kevin Williams, associate professor of Earth sciences at Buffalo State, joined us to discuss the Great American Eclipse of 2017, which will take place August 21.
