Buffalo State will host the 8th annual SUNYWide Film Festival Nov. 9-11. The festival was launched in 2009 to highlight the film and video work of students and faculty in the SUNY system.
SUNY Buffalo State’s student run television station BSC-TV suffered a setback earlier this semester as the college switched from analog to digital, which made the station’s equipment obsolete. However, the group recently secured a $16,000 budget increase from USG for an equipment upgrade.
This week on the Buffalo Review (April 3) we discussed the prospect of a new train station in Buffalo, a false story that went viral about “missing girls” in Washington, D.C. and new equipment for Buffalo State’s BSC-TV.
The Buffalo Review will be available as a television program during the spring 2017 semester. A radio version of the show will also return to the air on 91.3 WBNY-FM, Monday mornings at 9 a.m.
