SUNY Buffalo State has signed a memo of understanding with Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas (UCLV) in Santa Clara, Cuba to begin a partnership to create study abroad opportunities between the two schools. This is the first partnership between UCLV and a U.S. institution and it’s the first time Buffalo State has partnered with a school in Cuba.
The Buffalo Review is producing a number of stories and podcasts highlighting the experience of foreign exchange students in Australia. This semester, Brianna Shaffer, a junior media production major at Buffalo State, is reporting on her experiences while studying at the University of South Australia in Adelaide.
Many exchange students say they find balancing money, time management, socializing and independence to be some of the greatest challenges while living abroad. Adelaide, Australia is one of many exchange locations offered to SUNY students where they can put their independence, social life and budgeting to the test.
The Buffalo Review will produce a number of stories and podcasts highlighting the experience of foreign exchange students in Australia. Many students from Buffalo State participate in the Study Abroad and National Student Exchange programs in countries such as Australia, England, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
Buffalo Sate has partnered with Zhengzhou University of Light Industry in China to offer students a summer exchange opportunity. The two-week trip is intended to introduce students to Chinese culture and traditional arts.
