The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) held their 13th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 29. Buffalo State was one of more than 25 locations across western New York and 5,000 across the U.S. that participated in the event.
On April 28, the Student Affairs division at Buffalo State hosted their annual faculty appreciation awards in the lobby of the Technology Building. The event allows students to nominate professors who have made an impact on them so they can be acknowledged for the work they do in the classroom.
The Buffalo State Theater Department recently hosted an event called “Circle: Dance in the Round,” which created a challenge for the choreographers and dancers. The event was so named because the student performers were actually dancing around the audience.

For over 50 years, the Richardson Olmsted Complex has sat vacant adjacent to the Buffalo State campus. Now a portion of the complex has been transformed into the Hotel Henry, a multimillion dollar resort and conference center that opened April 30.
